Live-In Support Staff are part of a team responsible for assisting each individual to live a safe, enjoyable life in their community with opportunities to learn and to exercise increasing independence and control over their lives. Live-ins are responsible for the provision of day-to-day services to program participants.
The live-in is required to be at the program five nights a week (Monday through Friday) from 4pm p.m overnight until 9:00 a.m. in exchange for room and board. Off days are Saturday from 3pm until Monday at 4pm
Seven Hills Foundation will pay heat, electricity and basic cable (if there is existing cable in the apartment). The use of laundry facilities is also provided in the basement of the program.
Additional cable and phone hookups are to be paid for by the live-in.
If the live-in chooses to have a separate phone number, they will be responsible for that monthly bill.
The live-in is not required to be awake between the hours of 11:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m., except in the event of an emergency.
The live-in is required to be awake at 6:00 a.m. and assist the individuals with their morning routines (between 6:00 a.m-9:00 a.m.). These hours are not to be changed unless authorized by Resident Director. Duties include but not limited to; administering medications, ADL (activities of daily living) care, laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, log writing, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mature and active caregiver who enjoys getting involved with the community.
Must have valid driver's license, vehicle, and excellent driving record.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
