We are searching for a full time Director of Operations with an emphasis on the retail operations.
Ideal candidate would have significant experience in Merchandising, Human Resources, Open to Buy Strategies and Purchasing, Inventory Management as well as Office Management.
Must have at least 3 years of Retail Management experience ideally with brands such as Patagonia, Champion, Legacy and/or other lifestyle clothing brands.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES General oversight of daily retail operations to include the following.
People Ability to recruit, retain and foster growth opportunities for managers and key employees.
Provides training opportunities, constructive and positive feedback at all levels.
Inspire the Retail team with a positive and entrepreneurial attitude and enthusiasm.
Serve as support person for managers and for all general employees Assist managers in developing strategies to accomplish established goals Establish productivity and quality standards Collect necessary documentation from new employees for payroll processing Process payroll for 4 locations utilizing ADP on a bi-weekly basis Inventory Ability to organize, analyze and summarize complex information to make data driven decisions for merchandise orders and reorders Execute daily tasks such as purchase order creation, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment, monitor and reconcile merchandise Oversees inventory process, monitors weekly merchandise arrivals, and sale cycle process Provide guidance and input for merchandising efforts to showcase products favorably and promote sales Maintain current web inventories for online sales Maintain and order all store, office and shipping supplies Financial Submit credit applications for new vendors Review and approve incoming invoices Maintain profitable margins with cost information and retail pricing Track and monitor gross sales, expenditures, and inventory levels Organize and monitor tenant leases, payments and needs Overall Effectively manages internal and external customer relations, some of which will require levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
Responsible for addressing escalated customer and team member issues as appropriate.
Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high-pressure situations.
Works on special projects as assigned by ownership Ensures stores are maintained to company standard and all issues are addressed in a timely manner Manage all POS functions to both support the sales team and ensure store compliance Partner with the stores for maintenance needs, outside vendor interaction, including leased tenants Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Job Type:
